DESCRIPTION:Howl-O-Weenies & Wine! \nCoastal Pet Collective is partnering with Windmill Creek Winery and Farm Kitchen to kick off October in the most adorable way possible. Join us for an afternoon of pups on parade\, local wine\, live music\, pet-friendly activities\, adoptable pets and more. \nSunday\, October 11\, 2026\n12:00 PM to 4:00 PM\nAdmission is FREE \nFood and drink specials for owners accompanied by their fur-friends\, courtesy of Windmill Creek Winery and Farm Kitchen. \nSchedule\n1:00 PM: Live music with Dustin Showers\n2:00 PM: Howl-O-Weenie Costume Parade and Contest \nHowl-O-Weenie Costume Parade and Contest \nDress your pup in their best Halloween costume and join the parade. Registration is $10 and includes: \n\nA free photo of your pet in costume at our festive fall backdrop\nOptional entry in the costume contest\, with prizes\nA portion of all proceeds donated to local animal rescues\n\nRegister for the parade \nParade registration is free for all adoptable pets. Foster families and rescues\, please email Coastal Pet Collective to arrange participation. Donated costumes are supplied by the community for all adoptable pets. \nThroughout the afternoon \n\nPet-friendly arts and crafts\nLocal pet-focused vendors\nMeet-and-greets with adoptable pets\nFestive pet photo station with a photographer and fall backdrop\nYappy Hour menu for pups\nLocal pet sitters\, groomers\, trainers and veterinary professionals on hand\n\nFree and discounted nail trims \nLocal groomers and veterinary technicians offer complimentary nail trims with a donation of at least one unopened\, in-date bag of cat or dog food. Discounted trims are also available. Trims use a low-stress approach and are offered as time allows. \nCheck the chip table \nNot sure your pet’s microchip details are current? Volunteers will be on hand to show owners how to check their pet’s microchip information and update their contact details. \nMeet Coastal Pet Collective \nLearn about what Coastal Pet Collective is building for the local pet community\, and ask about the Pet Partner Program launching this fall.
